I've finally had time to start posting reviews of the nine films that were in feature competition at the New York City Horror Film Festival, starting with three of my favorites: Frank Henenlotter's
Bad Biology, the thoroughly surprising
Bonnie & Clyde vs Dracula (surprise no.1: despite the campy title, it's
good) and the Spanish time-travel thriller
Time Crimes. You can read them
here, and there are more to come.
RE: Bonnie & Clyde vs Dracula
ReplyDeleteDespite the title it's good? Hell, to me... it sounds great because of the title!
I don't know... I'm always leery of movies whose titles suggest the presence of a major movie buff who doesn't have the ideas to match his/her encyclopedic stash of cult-movie trivia.
